Since 9/11, I have constantly heard the argument that Muslims living in Western countries are in a “compromised” position!  According to some, Islamic teachings are in direct conflict with Western civil laws!

In this series, I take a tongue-in-cheek approach to respond to the above accusations. Faith, any faith, is not in conflict with national loyalty and allegiance. Indeed, all religions are at risk of misinterpretation and misuse for political ends.  The fault, however, is with a few corrupt minds and not with the core teachings of a faith. 

Sometimes, humor is the best approach.
