I started this series with a focus on the plight of the Syrian refugees.  These works express the emotional state of mind of a displaced individual. The narrative also reflects the world’s reaction and treatment of immigrants and refugees.

Visual metaphors such as paper boats, kites and tents reflect the unsettling reality of shifting roots and fragile journeys with uncertain destinations.
