The “Camo Heads” series uses camouflage, the distinctive pattern of war, as the communicative  conduit for these paintings. The pattern is intended to help conceal the identity of the wearer, yet it fails to conceal the effects of war on its victims.

Inspired by the ongoing unrest in Iraq, each painting in this series brands the figure with the unmistakable grim reminder of war.
