Road To Revolution
Like much of my recent work, this series draws inspiration from Street art, but also from Baroque and Mannerist traditions—not only for their dramatic flair, but for their use of contrast to convey layered narratives. Distorted limbs, mechanical forms, and mythical creatures emphasize the satirical and exaggerated tone, while introducing tension and ambiguity. Within the visual intensity, subtle gestures of resistance emerge—whether through expression, symbolism, or action.
With this series, I use satire and cynicism to highlight the erosion of our societal moral compass beneath the surface of a world that presents itself as just and democratic. Despite significant technological and social progress, our ethical foundations appear increasingly compromised—shaped less by principle and more by the calculated influence of powerful corporations, dark money, corrupt politicians, and biased media. Empathy, once considered a universal ideal, now narrows within boundaries defined by proximity, similarity, or sanctioned authority. The fundamental rights to protest, speak freely, and boycott are steadily undermined—vilified by political narratives and legitimized through media distortion. What remains is a society that celebrates innovation while quietly dismantling the conscience meant to guide it.
